Borer Control Dunedin
In Dunedin most borer infestations take hold and get well established in the wooden subfloors of old houses (T&G Rimu flooring, joists and bearers). Borer work their way from the underside of the timber upward and spread from there thoughout the house.

How Can I Treat My House?
Borer (Larvae Woodworm) will burrow into the wood and remain there for upto 2-5 years before exiting as adult beetles in order to breed and will then die within 3-4 weeks. This for any treatment to be successful, the treatment must outlast the lifecycle of the borer.
The treatment we use targets these wood destroying pests such as old house borer and well as a variety of beetles including furniture, deathwatch, longhorn, powder post and the common borer beetles.
Remedial applications for control of common wood boring insects: Anobium punctatum (Borer Beetle), Hadrobregums, Leanobium flavormaculatum (Native borea), Ambeodontus, and Termites (Katotermes Brouni).
